We started our New Year by lighting a candle for James our first grade friend who is at Children's Hospital. We will keep it burning and keep James and his family in our prayers. We wrote stories for him and put together a binder that included stories with James as one of the characters. He was most popular being "James Skywalker."
We have shared time with the first graders in Mrs. Paulson's class helping them to create stories to put in Book Creator. They will share all of their stories with James who will be able to read them at home.
It was a lot of fun.
